Job summary

Shawnee State University’s Clarke Memorial Library is seeking a Library Access Specialist I to join the Academic and Student Affairs team in Portsmouth, Ohio. This on-site, part-time role supports the circulation desk, supervises student workers during evenings and weekends, and helps manage the 24-hour lab under limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of multiple software products.

Responsibilities

• Staffs the circulation desk and records desk statistics.
• Supervise students during evening and weekend hours.
• Manage the 24-hour lab and assist patrons with check-out and first-line reference questions.
• Coordinates opening/closing and building security as needed.
