Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an on-site Facilities Associate to manage day-to-day housekeeping for the property and its surroundings. You will support customers, tenants, and vendors while performing routine janitorial and grounds-keeping duties during a Tuesday–Saturday, 2:30pm–11:00pm shift.

Responsibilities include trash removal, landscaping, snow/ice management, safety reporting, and daily log updates to the Operations Lead Tech. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of commercial janitorial/maintenance experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Able to work weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain buildings and grounds with janitorial services and daily restroom servicing.
• Remove trash, recycle materials, and manage waste to designated disposal areas.
• Know roof access, irrigation, water and gas shutoffs for safety.
• Keep shop areas clean and broom swept.
• Clear snow and ice; perform light shoveling and apply ice melt as needed.
• Provide daily logs to report information to the Operations Lead Tech; report hazards to management.
• Perform landscaping tasks such as weed removal, pruning, and watering as directed.
• Act as on-site representative to assist customers and tenants with directions and security requests.
