Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a part-time Caregiver for 24 hours per week (2p-10p), Fri/Sat/Sun in La Mesa, CA. You will assist residents with ADLs, meals, hygiene, and mobility, while promoting safety and dignity in daily care and routines.

The role emphasizes compassionate, hands-on service, teamwork, and excellent communication to support our residents and the MBK community. Competitive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current First Aid, CPR, and Medication Management Certifications.
• Nurses Aide Certification preferred unless required by state.
• Food Handler’s Card preferred; training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident needs promptly while maintaining dignity and safety.
• Validate ISP and review shift reports at the start of each shift.
• Assist residents in ADLs including bathing, dressing, hygiene, and meals.
• Provide safe transport and transfers of residents.
• Respond to residents' behavioral expressions with compassion and professionalism.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry tasks for residents and the community.
