Job summary

Fusion Recovery, Inc. seeks an Addiction Treatment Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support care in our inpatient medically supervised reintegration program.

The BHT will assist with day-to-day tasks, counseling support, and nursing needs while collaborating with physicians, nurses, therapists, and counselors. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, urine drug screens, and adherence to program policies.

Responsibilities

• Orientates new clients to the facility/clinic.
• Instructs and confirms the program's rules and regulations to new admissions.
• Assists in supervision of clients during hourly rounds for safety and wellbeing.
• Ensures daily schedule is adhered to.
• Utilizes company vehicles for transportation of clients.
• Completes and forwards incident reports and safety/risk communications to supervisor.
• Monitors and completes all urine drug screens as ordered.
• Documents behavioral issues and reports to clinical staff.
• Builds positive relationships with clients and staff.
• Provides a safe and therapeutic environment to all staff and patients.
• Responds to medical emergencies and provides assistance as directed.
• Communicates with clients and the interdisciplinary team regarding client needs.
• Assists with chart documentation and compliance.
• Adheres to program policies and ensures client safety at all times.
• Performs other duties assigned
