Southern Hills Rehab Center is seeking a compassionate and organized Activities Assistant to join our evening and weekend shift team. This part-time role focuses on designing and delivering engaging activities that enhance residents' well-being and quality of life.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of healthcare or social services setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to lift, move, and transport equipment and supplies up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing activities for residents with diverse interests and abilities.
• Lead groups and individual activities, ensuring safety and engagement.
• Collaborate with the activities director to develop innovative programs promoting engagement and well-being.
• Maintain accurate records of resident participation, activity schedules, and inventory.
• Support special events, outings, and celebrations.
• Participate in care conferences and contribute to individualized care plans.
