Job summary

BSN SPORTS, A VARSITY BRANDS COMPANY, is seeking a Team Lead for its Production/Warehouse team in Indianapolis. The role focuses on problem solving to support operations and achieve KPIs in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity.

You will lead a lean-minded team, ensure a safe working environment, communicate to meet daily goals, identify training gaps, and drive SOP adherence within a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED and/or 2-3 years’ experience in a warehouse/manufacturing setting
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment in a Lean culture for all team members
• Communicate with team members to resolve issues to attain daily productivity, quality, and delivery goals
• Partner with department Coach to identify training gaps and develop action plan per team member
• Be a champion of the department’s SOPs
• Partner to find the most efficient process and suggest improvements where needed/identified; encourages team members to provide suggestions
• Identify and resolve small conflicts within department; work closely with Supervisor/Manager to resolve larger conflicts.
• Tactically understands department metrics and what impacts them; able to make recommendations on labor shifting, when business dictates
