Job summary

BSN SPORTS, a Varsity Brands company, is seeking a Building Miscellaneous Associate to support production and warehouse operations in Indianapolis. The role focuses on keeping a safe, organized environment while meeting KPIs for safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.

You'll perform light maintenance tasks, assist in event setup, and help manage waste and space in a Lean, team-oriented setting. Strong English communication and basic math are essential for daily tasks and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or vocational training preferred.
• Proven maintenance experience in manufacturing and warehouse environments.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Proficient in reading manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Can work independently or in a team with minimal supervision.
• Proficient with CMMS and basic software tools.
• Read and comprehend English documentation and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, healthy, and welcoming working environment in a Lean culture for all team members
• Collect and dispose of empty cardboard boxes; assist in breaking boxes down to maximize space according to safe work practices
• Collect and dispose of trash to help maintain a healthy work environment
• Assist the maintenance team with projects such as set up/tear down of team member events, painting, taping, dusting, cleaning, and mopping.
