Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Warehouse Associate to select cases and containers from multi-level warehouse storage, preparing orders for shipment with pallets and electric equipment. You will maintain safety standards and assist in efficient product flow through the warehouse, contributing to on-time delivery for customers.

Responsibilities include following safety procedures, performing equipment safety checks, meeting productivity targets, and supporting general warehouse duties.

Qualifications

• Ability to work scheduled/assigned shifts, including required overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift and stack product between 10-35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures per company guidelines; keep work area safe and report hazards.
• Review schedule, gather supplies, perform safety checks on pallet jack/forklift, and wear PPE.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location guidelines.
• Place pallets on pallet jack and locate products on multi-level racks per order sheets.
• Move completed orders to shipping dock, wrap as needed, and ensure timely shipment.
