Pitney Bowes is hiring a Warehouse Operations Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Atlanta, Georgia. The role supports our Presort Services facility by coordinating mail flow, supervising the production team, and ensuring timely USPS/compliance with quality standards.

The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM EST. Base salary ranges from $54,000 to $67,000 annually, plus a 6% field bonus. Vacation is not fixed, and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in USPS-related environments.
• Minimum 2 years of production/mailing industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel; basic knowledge of Word/Teams/Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Organize mail flow on production floor; assign workers to meet deadlines.
• Manage the production workers on the designated shift.
• Interview, hire, train, appraise performance; reward and discipline employees.
• Fulfills supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Oversees quality function throughout the production area.
• Assures Total Quality Management (TQM) processes and procedures are followed.
• Assist Operations Manager in USPS/internal reports and regulations.
• Maintain clear communication between shifts.
• Suggest improvements to equipment usage and working conditions.
• Be responsible for other duties as assigned.

Job Description:

Pitney Bowes is hiring a Warehouse Operations Supervisor, 2nd Shift in Atlanta, Georgia at our Presort Services facility!

Your schedule will be Monday through Friday from 4:00PM to 1:00AM EST.

The annual base salary range for this role is $54,000.00 - $67,000.00.

This role also has a 6% field bonus.

You Will:

• Under direction from the Operations Manager or Assistant Operations Manager, organizes the mail flow on the production floor by assigning workers and assessing volumes and type of mail based on current staffing levels to meet postal deadlines.
• Manage the production workers on designated shift.
• Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and solving problems.
• Fulfills supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Oversees quality function throughout the production area.
• Assures TQM (Total Quality Management) processes and procedures are followed at all times.
• Assists Operations Manager in completing required USPS and internal reports, job costing reports and application of all USPS postal regulations.
• Assures clear and concise communication of pertinent information between shifts.
• Offers suggestions regarding increasing efficiency of use of equipment, working conditions, and motivation of employees.
• Be responsible for other duties as assigned.

Your Background:

• Minimum of 1-year supervisory experience in any of the following areas where familiarity of USPS requirements and/or regulations are applied (presort, mailroom, associated industries)
• Minimum of 2-years of progressively responsible experience in a production or mailing industry environment
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Microsoft Access along with basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, internet, and Microsoft Outlook.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., or current maximum allowed by your State.
• Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodation.
• Based on operational needs must be willing and able to work as needed, including weekends, holidays, days off and/or a different shift with limited or no advance notice

For completing this work, Presort Services receives discounted postage rates. By performing this sorting work on behalf of our clients, we are able to share a portion of that discount with them.
