FedEx Supply Chain in Edwardsville, KS is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the 2nd shift (Mon–Fri 4:30pm–1:00am). The role leads direct reports, assigns work, and ensures safety, quality, and efficiency across warehouse operations while maintaining inventory integrity and meeting KPIs.

The candidate will supervise daily activities, prepare reports, drive continuous improvement, and maintain a clean 5S workplace. An applicable degree or military rank, plus leadership experience, is required.

Qualifikationen

Aufgaben

• Supervise at least two full-time direct reports and provide coaching and performance feedback.
• Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse production activities.
• Prepare and distribute operational reports to support daily activities.
• Ensure schedules are followed and jobs are assigned/completed efficiently.
• Manage vacations and time-off to minimize disruption and meet customer needs.
• Lead floor operations with effective communication and safety practices.
• Conduct daily startup meetings and convey work instructions.
• Drive continuous improvement and manage change across teams.
• Promote safety through meetings, training, and 5S standards.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work environment aligned with corporate standards.
• Supervise to meet KPIs and develop the team through cross-training.
• Facilitate handoffs and communicate key information across teams.
• Provide courteous customer service in high-pressure situations.
• Ensure inventory integrity and assist with counts.
• Support the Operations Manager with special projects.
• Assist in maintaining facility security.
