Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a worker to operate equipment safely for moving packages, documents and heavyweight freight. The role includes assisting pallet buildup/breakdown and acting as liaison with the ULD repair vendor as needed.

Employees must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, walk and stand for extended periods, climb stairs and ladders, and work in various weather conditions. A valid driver's license is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Able to bend, squat, and maneuver heavy packages.
• Able to communicate in a noisy operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment for movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assists in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serves as liaison between FedEx and ULD repair vendor as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
