Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a capable team member to operate equipment safely for the movement of packages, documents, and heavyweight freight. Duties include pallet buildup/breakdown and acting as liaison with the ULD repair vendor as needed.

The role requires physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, walk/stand for shifts, and work in various weather conditions. Valid driver’s license may be required for certain locations.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level and to maneuver packages above 50 lbs using equipment or assistance.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Able to bend and squat for designated work hours.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders if required at work location.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assists in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serves as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor, as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
