Job summary

Home Chef in San Bernardino, CA is seeking a Warehouse Lead for 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) with Fridays and Saturdays off. You will organize associates, assign daily tasks, and train staff on standard procedures to ensure safe, timely production.

The role covers receiving, issuing to production, and shipping, with a focus on accuracy, inventory control, and safety compliance. Experience leading warehouse teams is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must have at least 1 year warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word to execute transactions and enter counts/corrections.
• Ability to use handheld data logging equipment required.
• Previous leadership experience in a warehouse environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate receiving dock activities and ensure accuracy and dock maintenance.
• Train team on standard procedures and safe operation of equipment.
• Oversee shipping and outbound pallet loading with proper documentation.
• Provide on-the-floor coaching and feedback to maintain performance to standard.
• Maintain records and provide reliable information for inventory control.
