Job summary

Home Chef is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the 1st shift in California. The role runs 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. You will help with receiving, storing, and shipping activities, ensuring FIFO storage and proper packaging for produce and goods.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, maintaining clean storage pods, and assisting production with material readiness. Candidates should have a high school diploma and be able to lift up to 50 lbs, with prior warehouse

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willing to learn operate manual/electric pallet jack and handheld scanners.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs; prior warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming produce and packaged goods with proper FIFO storage.
• Assist with break down pallets for quality checks and transport to storage area.
• Load and unload pallets for production, shipping, and receiving; ensure proper labeling and locations.
• Maintain clean, organized storage areas and prep spaces for inbound and outbound operations.
• Follow safety procedures, PPE, and GMPs; sign for equipment and report issues.
