Job summary

Staples in Putnam, CT is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support inventory control and general warehouse tasks. You may operate forklifts and other MHE while following safety procedures to move products within the facility.

The role supports both full-time and part-time schedules with competitive pay and benefits. Candidates must pass a drug screen, lift up to 100 lbs, and meet basic English and computer skill requirements.

Qualifications

• Pass a drug screen where legally permissible.
• Full-Time or Part-Time hours may apply; overtime may be required based on business needs.
• Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet.
• Lift/push/pull 70–100 pounds by hand.
• Wear safety composite work shoes.
• Walk/stand 100% of the time.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Review inventory and reconcile discrepancies; maintain records to minimize variances.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, electric pallet jacks) following safety procedures.
• Confirm accuracy of products; communicate with colleagues to resolve discrepancies and damages.
• Move product within the warehouse; adhere to safety culture and procedures.
