Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Assoc II, Warehouse Ops in Champlin, MN to support outbound activities and inbound receiving. You will meet quality, safety and productivity standards while handling orders, loading, and shipment preparation.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, operating material handling equipment, and adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced distribution environment. Overtime opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package accompany this position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 feet regularly.
• Previous material handling equipment experience (PIT) preferred.
• RF scanner and/or voice to pick experience highly preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice.
• Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment and rotate into various areas of the warehouse.
• Basic proficiency in English, including reading and writing in English required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to process orders including picking, quality checks, sorting, consolidating freight, building, wrapping pallets, packing and loading.
• Follow direction and adapt priorities while working independently or as part of a team.
• Pick large case items with MHE or small unit items and place on designated cart.
• Cross-train in multiple areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Utilize WMS to check in/out products.
• Operate material handling equipment as required (e.g., cherry picker, forklift, reach truck, etc.).
• Complete housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a safe workspace.
• Work on routine tasks and resolve problems as they arise.
• Attend associate meetings and escalate concerns to management.
• Adhere to safety regulations and PPE requirements.
