Job summary

Cardinal Health in the United States (KS) is seeking an Assoc II, Warehouse Ops to support outbound/inbound tasks and ensure quality, safety, and productivity standards are met. You will pick, pack, ship, and handle pallets, using WMS and material handling equipment as needed.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, ability to work in heights, and readiness for overtime. Prior PIT and RF scanning experience is strongly preferred; English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, preferred.
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 feet regularly.
• Previous material handling equipment experience (PIT) preferred.
• RF scanner experience highly preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice.
• Basic proficiency in English, reading and writing in English required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to process orders including picking, quality checks, sorting, consolidating freight, building, wrapping pallets, packing, loading and preparing orders for shipment.
• Ability to follow direction and change priorities while working independently or in a team.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Utilize WMS to check in and out products.
• Drive material handling equipment as required (order picker, forklift, reach truck, turret, pallet jack, walkie rider).
• Complete housekeeping and inventory control tasks to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Work on routine assignments and communicate concerns to management.
• Adhere to site safety regulations including PPE like steel-toed shoes and safety harness.
