Job summary

Cardinal Health in Leawood, KS is seeking an Assoc II, Warehouse Ops to support outbound and inbound activities. You will follow SOPs to pick, check quality, and prepare orders for shipment, using WMS and equipment as needed. Strong safety practices and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are essential.

The role requires basic English, OT flexibility, and readiness to learn multiple warehouse areas while contributing to team goals and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent preferred.
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort working at heights 20–30 feet regularly.
• RF scanner and/or voice-picking experience preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime with little to no notice.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to process orders: picking, quality checks, sorting, pallets, packing, loading, and shipment prep.
• Follow directions and adjust priorities as needed.
• Pick large items with equipment or small items for cart placement.
• Cross-train in warehouse areas and participate in projects.
• Use WMS to check in/out products.
• Operate material handling equipment as required (e.g., cherry picker, forklift, reach truck).
• Keep area clean and safe; perform inventory tasks.
• Contribute to associate meetings and communicate concerns to management.
