Qualifications

• Associate/Diploma prepared RN; 2+ years experience required if hired without a BSN/MSN must enroll in BSN/MSN within 1 year and complete within 5 years.
• BSN from ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA preferred; MSN preferred.
• Active Ohio RN License; may require licensure in other states.
• Foreign graduates must have license validated via TruMerit per Ohio Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Compliance - Patient Services Staff: maintain regulatory standards and safety; support leadership to meet CMS standards.
• Uses systems thinking to support patient and family through care coordination and safety.
• Clinical judgment when performing care: collect data, follow protocols, document care and outcomes.
• Clinical inquiry & performance review to improve practice: follow standards, seek learning, and share safety best practices.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team in shared governance and decision making.
• Interprofessional Practice: integrate IPM in practice.
• Advocacy and cultural inclusivity: support patient rights and culturally inclusive care.
• Patient Care - Age Specific and Culturally Inclusive: tailor care to age and development.
