Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital in Westerville, OH is hiring a Staff RN for the Westerville Urgent Care (Evenings). The role is part-time (16 or 24 hours per week) with an evenings schedule, including every third weekend and holiday rotations.

Base pay is $36.90 per hour, plus applicable shift differentials, with benefits eligibility. The RN provides family-centered nursing care, assesses patient needs, and coordinates with LPNs, PCAs, and other staff.

Qualifications

• BSN or Associate degree with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current CPR certification required; willingness to obtain NRP, PALS, ACLS, APHON or other needed certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
• Assesses individualized patient needs and communicates care priorities to the team.
• Plans, implements, educates and evaluates care using Evidence-Based Practices.
• Documents according to organizational standards and policies.
• Maintains quality and safety as a priority throughout the patient episode of care.
