Qualifications

• Associate/Diploma prepared RN from ACEN, CCNE or NLN CNEA accredited institution required; 2+ years experience.
• Preferred: BSN from ACEN, CCNE or NLN CNEA accredited institution or MSN.

Responsibilities

• Sustain understanding of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards; support leadership in compliance efforts.
• Monitor safety and departmental policies; ensure certifications and Safety College requirements are fulfilled.
• Collect clinical data; follow algorithms, decision trees, and protocols; document plan of care and outcomes.
• Engage in clinical inquiry and performance review to improve practice; seek help in unusual cases when needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team in shared decision making at the point-of-care.
• Integrate Interprofessional Practice Model (IPM) in all aspects of practice.
• Advocate for patients and families; address cultural inclusion and ethical considerations.
• Provide age-specific and culturally inclusive patient care.
