Qualifications

• Previous Unit Clerk/Secretary experience in hospital or medical office setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, families, visitors and physicians delivering excellent customer service.
• Answer phones, call bells and intercoms; direct requests to the appropriate team.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges; maintain accurate patient information.
• Enter physician orders and update records in electronic medical record systems.
• Prepare, organize and maintain reports and unit documentation.
• Support daily nursing station operations by managing supplies and workspace.
