Loews Coral Gables Hotel is seeking a detail‑oriented Turndown Attendant to create serene guest rooms and deliver a restful, high‑class experience for guests in a AAA Four‑Diamond property near Miracle Mile. You will prepare rooms, replenish amenities, and perform light cleaning to uphold Loews’ standards of comfort and elegance.

The role emphasizes careful attention to details, proactive service, and teamwork within the Housekeeping Department.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cleaning role preferred.
• Previous experience in a hotel or resort environment preferred.
• Basic English skills preferred.
• Ability to walk, stand, reach and bend.
• Ability to push, lift, and pull items weighing up to 25lbs repetitively during entire shift.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare guest rooms for the evening by turning down bed linens, folding back covers, and fluffing pillows to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Replenish guest amenities such as towels, toiletries, coffee supplies, and glasses.
• Perform light cleaning tasks, including removing trash, straightening up the room, and wiping down surfaces.
• Adjust room conditions for guest comfort, such as setting the room temperature and lighting.
• Report suspicious behavior, lost items, unsecured valuables, and other discrepancies to supervisors.
• Attend departmental meetings and provide coverage in related areas when necessary.
• Maintain professional and friendly guest relations and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Follow safety protocols and department procedures, including emergency practices.
