Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Truck-to-Truck Coordinator to support the movement and placement of waste from company facilities, direct generators, and field service projects. This primarily office-based role processes driver paperwork, assigns trailers, and coordinates logistics through company software.

The ideal candidate has strong communication and administrative skills, is comfortable using computer systems, and can work independently during the evening shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Windows-based applications.
• Office or administrative experience preferred.
• Experience using software to track information and coordinate logistics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process driver paperwork and maintain shipment records.
• Assign empty and full trailers and update trailer assignments in software.
• Coordinate loads with drivers, transportation teams, and facility personnel to manage loads and trailer movements.
• Coordinate loads between hubs, plants and central logistics.
• Prepare outbound shipments, including barcoding, recording weights and palletizing.
• Dispatch transportation from hubs, maximizing trailer weights and efficiency while complying with permits.
• Ensure DOT exemptions are used for transfers and management of truck-to-truck containers.
• Assist with tracking manifest return timelines.
• Maintain hub database and Outlook–Hub Management system.
• Complete filing, scanning, data entry, and email correspondence.
• Report leaks, releases or other hub issues to Health & Safety/Compliance managers and assist as directed.
• Perform additional duties based on business needs.
