Job summary

Abraxas Youth and Family Services is seeking a Supervising role to manage a treatment unit and guide a team of staff in the South Mountain, PA area. You will ensure policy adherence and support staff development to promote client safety and progress.

This position requires a relevant degree and experience in residential settings, with emphasis on supervision, training, and case management. A valid driver's license is required and background checks will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Education and experience requirements: Bachelor’s in human services with 1 year residential treatment experience preferred.
• Alternatively, Associate’s degree/60 credits with 3 years’ experience with children.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct activities of a treatment unit and staff.
• Ensure adherence to Abraxas policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance and support to staff for growth and development.
• Maintain staffing schedules ensuring safety for clients and staff.
• Organize and monitor work activities and conduct onboarding for new employees.
• Lead supervisory conferences, evaluations, and provide feedback.
• Schedule and ensure mandatory training compliance.
• Oversee case management activities and SCM practices.
