Job summary

Abraxas Youth and Family Services is seeking a Treatment Supervisor to lead a residential unit in Morgantown, PA. You will supervise staff, ensure policy compliance, and serve as a professional role model to promote growth and development among employees and youth.

You will oversee schedules, on-boarding, training, and performance evaluations, while maintaining safety and quality in daily activities and treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services field and one-year experience in residential treatment is preferred, OR Associate’s degree or 60 credit hours with three years’ work experience with children.
• Supervisory experience is also preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain employee schedules to ensure safety for clients and staff.
• Develop and implement systems to organize and monitor work activities.
• Structure, implement, and facilitate new employee on-the-job orientation.
• Conduct supervisory conferences and performance evaluations and provide feedback.
• Schedule training to meet mandatory requirements.
• Provide ongoing supervision to unit staff and monitor case management.
• Mentor and supervise youth and employees.
• Interact with and supervise clients daily, ensuring safety and security.
• Communicate with supervisors and coworkers regularly.
