Abraxas Youth and Family Services is seeking an Educational Treatment Supervisor for the learning center at South Mountain, PA. This full-time role involves supervising staff, ensuring safety, and upholding policies while guiding the team to support youth and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or human services field and one-year experience in residential treatment is preferred.
• Associate’s degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college/university and three years’ work experience with children.
• Must be 21+ years of age; valid Driver's License; TB and drug testing.
• Background checks for crimes including drug, violent, sexual abuse and related checks are required.
• Ability to work with computers and software used by the department.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct the activities of the learning center, including supervising staff in the unit.
• Ensure Abraxas policies and procedures are followed.
• Lead, direct, guide and support staff for growth and development.
• Maintain employee schedules to ensure safety for clients and staff.
• Develop and implement systems to organize and monitor learning center work activities.
• Organize on-the-job orientation for new employees.
• Conduct supervisory conferences and performance evaluations with employees and provide feedback.
• Schedule employee training to meet mandatory requirements.
• Provide ongoing supervision to learning center staff and monitor activities.
• Demonstrate Safe Crisis Management (SCM) and supervise SCM use.
