Job summary

SkyChefs, based near Pittsburgh International Airport, is seeking an Operations Supervisor-Transportation to oversee the PM/evening shift of airline catering drivers and dispatch operations, ensuring safe, on-time service.

The role requires leadership in a fast-paced environment, adherence to safety standards, and coordination of scheduling, dispatch, and customer service while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a production, manufacturing, or operations environment.
• Strong operational leadership and supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of airline catering, transportation, dispatch, or logistics operations preferred.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to obtain and maintain airport security clearance/SIDA badge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee PM airline catering drivers, including dispatch operations and daily route coordination.
• Verify drivers follow all SOPs, safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Monitor and drive on-time performance to ensure service level expectations are met.
• Maintain proper driver scheduling, staffing coverage, and shift compliance.
• Oversee workflows to ensure teams are organized and directed to meet production and delivery timelines.
• Ensure timely and accurate catering and delivery of all flights according to standards.
• Lead daily team huddles communicating goals, priorities, and performance expectations.
