Job summary

LSG Sky Chefs Seattle is seeking an Operations Supervisor Transportation to lead ground handling, oversee ramp operations, and ensure timely loading of aircraft meals. You will manage shift staffing, coach frontline teams, enforce safety rules, and coordinate with flight operations to maintain quality, efficiency, and on-time performance.

The role requires at least two years of progressive leadership in transportation or ramp operations and a willingness to work flexible shifts in a 24/7

Qualifications

• Two years of progressive leadership experience in transportation, logistics, distribution, warehouse, or ramp operations.
• Experience leading union and/or hourly workforces.
• Proficiency with workforce management, scheduling, and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily ramp operations, including loading and unloading of catering equipment and supplies.
• Manages ramp personnel, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Ensures compliance with safety regulations (OSHA, FAA, TSA) and conducts regular safety inspections.
• Coordinates with flight operations and catering teams to ensure timely and accurate loading of aircraft.
• Monitors ramp efficiency, equipment utilization, and workflow; resolves issues promptly.
