Job summary

The City of Eau Claire is hiring a Transit Supervisor to support Bus Operators and ensure safe, reliable transportation for the community. You’ll assist the Transit Manager with daily operations, training and supervising operators, responding to incidents, and helping to keep our service running smoothly.

Typical shifts are 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with work every third Saturday and on-call duties until final bus ends around 10:30 p.m. The position offers generous paid time off and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED, etc.).
• Valid Class B CDL with no air brake restrictions and P endorsement within 6 months of hire.
• Two years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite and training in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

• Support Bus Operators and help ensure safe, reliable transportation.
• Assist Transit Manager with daily operations and incident response.
• Train and supervise operators to maintain service quality.
• Keep the transit system running smoothly and efficiently.
