Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Lead Assembler on 2nd Shift in Wisconsin. The role includes welding and assembling high‑voltage transformer components, with a sign‑on bonus and shift premium. This position emphasizes safety and quality in a manufacturing setting.

Overtime may be required; the baseline pay is $24.45–$26.00 per hour plus a $2.50 shift premium. Benefits are highlighted as part of Eaton’s competitive offering.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work in the United States without company sponsorship on an ongoing basis.
• No relocation offered; must live within 50 miles of Waukesha, WI facility.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints & schematics to guide assembly.
• Mig welds laminated leads to bus bar and attaches components.
• Brazes, welds, or crimps secondary leads to coil.
• Assembles and hooks up dual voltage switches, tap changers, and related accessories with correct tank clearances.
• Fits and cuts wood braces for leads and bolts onto core and coil frame.
• Measures and cuts leads to proper lengths; insulates and crimps terminals as needed.
• Perform minor coil repair as required.
• Read blueprints & schematics.
