Job summary

TEN (Transportation Equipment Network) seeks a Semi-Trailer Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair a variety of trailers, including dry vans, reefers, flatbeds, and utility trailers. You will handle mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and structural systems with emphasis on safety and DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Trailer Technician or related role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands‑on trailer maintenance.
• Knowledge of brake, suspension, hydraulics, electrical systems, and DOT requirements.
• Ability to use shop tools, diagnostic equipment, and welding/fabrication tools.
• Ability to lift and move heavy trailer components.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues on trailers.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine trailer servicing.
• Repair or replace brake systems, suspensions, axles, landing gear, and wheel-end components.
• Troubleshoot lighting systems, wiring, and electrical components.
• Complete frame, body, and structural repairs including welding.
• Conduct DOT inspections and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Document all repairs and maintain accurate work orders in the maintenance system.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
• Communicate repair needs with supervisors and team.
