Job summary

Meadows Behavioral Health is seeking a licensed therapist in Sunnyvale, CA to assess, plan, and deliver comprehensive behavioral health care. The role includes coordinating discharge planning, conducting individual and group psychotherapy, and participating in a multidisciplinary treatment team.

The position requires a Masters degree in Behavioral Health, state licensure, CPR/First Aid, CPI certification, and at least two years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Behavioral Health or related field.
• State licensed. If doctorate in Psychology, may function as Therapist but license as Psychologist upon hire.
• CPR & First Aid Certified.
• CPI Certified.
• Valid Drivers License.
• Driver Safety Training.
• Minimum of two years experience in behavioral health field preferred.
• Prefer experience with specialty services (Trauma, Chemical Dependency, Eating Disorders).

Responsibilities

• Assess and facilitate care for assigned patients and participates in treatment and continuing care planning.
• Responsible for case management for all assigned patients.
• Conducts individual, family, specialized, and group psychotherapy and shares clinical information with the treatment team.
• Promotes implementation of therapeutic milieu and daily program schedule.
• Provides patient care in a supportive and empathetic manner; provide on-call coverage as requested.
