Job summary

SkOUT Secure Intelligence is seeking a detail-oriented Tablet Assembly Technician to assemble, configure, test, and package LTE- and Wi-Fi-enabled tablet devices on the 2nd shift. This onsite role emphasizes following detailed instructions, quality standards, and safe handling in a production environment.

The contract is short-term (2-3 months) with a Monday–Friday schedule, 4:00 PM–12:30 AM. Ideal candidates have basic electronics experience and the ability to stand for extended periods while

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year in assembly/manufacturing/electronics/production.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and use hand tools safely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Must be able to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assemble tablet devices and install components such as batteries, cameras, displays, antennas, and SIM card trays.
• Configure devices, load software, perform firmware updates, and run activation tests.
• Test LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, touchscreen, charging, battery, audio and camera functions.
• Inspect completed devices for defects and quality issues.
• Maintain production records and follow ESD and safety procedures.
• Package completed devices according to customer requirements.
