Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Temporary Assembly Operator I to assemble and test electronic and mechanical components according to standardized work instructions and drawings. The role emphasizes attention to detail, safe work practices, and a continuous improvement mindset, with training on first shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and experience in manufacturing or production environments, with the ability to read drawings and SOPs and operate small

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Experience in manufacturing inspection.
• Experience in production environment or as machinist inspector/printing press operator.

Responsibilities

• Follow standardized work instructions for assembly per top/sub level drawings.
• Test electronics/mechanical parts assembly requiring fine hand-eye coordination.
• Operate hydraulic presses.
• Read and comprehend manufacturing drawings and SOPs/OMS.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards (5S) during shift.
• Demonstrate a mindset of continuous improvement in duties.
• Follow safety protocols and directions.
• Use microscopes and small hand tools.
