Eaton is seeking a Wiring Associate (B-Shift) in Sumter, SC. You will wire switchboard products, interpret wiring diagrams, and work with a team to meet safety, quality, and production goals.

The role requires basic wiring experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to obtain work authorization in the United States. This position offers a competitive hourly wage with a shift differential and eligibility for an incentive program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 6 months wiring experience.
• 6 months experience in manufacturing or operations and/or technical experience in an industrial setting.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• Preferred: 1+ year experience in manufacturing or operations and/or technical experience in an industrial setting.
• Understanding wiring diagrams, schematics, and power flow; ability to read front views, one-line diagrams, and BOMs.
• Experience with Eaton systems including PLM (Enovia) and material management (DMM).
• Lean concepts knowledge and panelboard assembly exposure.

Responsabilités

• Wire switchboard products and provide wiring expertise.
• Communicate and collaborate with team to meet safety, quality, delivery, inventory and productivity goals.
• Interpret wiring diagrams, BOMs, and drawings to select and install correct wiring.
• Ensure quality through visual inspections and troubleshooting nonconforming parts.
• Cross-train and cover for other positions as needed.
