Job summary

Arc Thrift Stores is seeking a Night Supervisor to manage store operations during evening shifts and Sundays, ensuring adequate staffing, proper training, and clean, merchandised floors. You will support cashiers and help reduce customer wait times while upholding company policies.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will supervise associates, implement the operations manual, monitor safety guidelines, and help maintain accurate deposits.

Qualifications

• Two years of progressive experience in retail, managing a minimum of 5 people.
• Experience working with a diverse workforce and in fast-paced environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Achieves sales plan by ensuring the store is fully staffed and trained.
• Maintains merchandise presentation, cleanliness, and accurate cash handling.
• Responds to long lines by assisting cashiers or opening a register to reduce wait times.
• Promotes open communication, accountability, and compliance with laws.
• Provides feedback and coaching to employees; conducts performance notes.
• Manages attendance records, safety guidelines, and daily deposits.
• Opens and closes the store; supports donation intake and production prep.
• Implements customer service programs and banking procedures as per manual.
