Job summary

The Arc Thrift Stores in Denver is seeking a Night Supervisor to manage store operations during evening shifts and Sundays, driving sales performance and customer satisfaction. You will supervise associates, open/close the store, and ensure proper merchandising and safety standards.

You will lead by example, train new staff, handle cash operations with accuracy, and collaborate with the Store Manager to uphold company policies and a positive working environment for a diverse team.

Qualifications

• Two years of progressive retail experience with responsibilities increased.
• Experience managing at least 5 staff or equivalent thrift-store team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to train and guide associates; deliver feedback and coaching.
• Ability to work evenings and Sundays; adapt to fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Achieves store sales plan by ensuring adequate staffing and readiness.
• Open and close the store; manage banking and cash handling procedures.
• Maintain merchandising, cleanliness, and proper cart placement.
• Respond to long lines; assist cashiers to reduce customer wait times.
• Train new employees; provide feedback and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Promote a culture of open communication, accountability and compliance.
