Job summary

Commonwealth of Kentucky, Louisville, KY, seeks a Student Development Assistant to support students with homework, literacy and independent living skills in a 2nd shift setting. The role focuses on safety, records, and program discipline within the KDE/KSB environment.

The position requires a high school diploma and at least one year in student development or education, with Sundays–Thursdays, 3:30pm–11:30pm hours. Includes benefits and overtime eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in student development or education.
• Must work second shift: 3:30pm–11:30pm, Sundays–Thursdays.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and instruction to students regarding homework and study assistance.
• Maintain cleanliness of dorm.
• Assist students with independent living skills and conflict resolution skills.
• Interpret and apply school policies related to the student development program, including discipline.
• Maintain appropriate records and submit reports.
• Complete and maintain student records and reports.
• Attend necessary student meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
