Job summary

Responsibilities include hiring and developing staff, coaching performance, maintaining schedules, and using tools like ACIS and CAO to optimize operations and financial results.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as a Department Manager or similar role in retail.
• Strong store operations knowledge and merchandising skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, learn systems and training programs.
• Ability to lead associates and meet staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with day-to-day store operations.
• Hire, train and develop store associates.
• Lead performance coaching, appraisals and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure fast, friendly service and high customer satisfaction.
• Maintain security, safety and food safety standards.
• Utilize reports and scheduling tools to manage labor and inventory.
• Support achievement of store budgeted results and minimize shrink.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
