Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Stewarding Manager at our iconic 270 Park Avenue headquarters. You will lead the evening stewarding and utility operations, building a high-performing team and setting departmental standards to support thousands of employees and guests.

You will report to the Head Steward and oversee SOPs, safety, and cost-effective operations in both front-of-house and back-of-house areas, driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced corporate hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading stewarding or utility operations in a high-volume hospitality environment.
• Demonstrated supervision experience including scheduling and performance management.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation standards and safe chemical handling.
• Proven ability to train and coach in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience establishing and maintaining SOPs, checklists, and routines.
• Effective written and verbal communication across teams.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work flexible evening schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day stewarding and utility operations across evening shifts, ensuring workflow and standards.
• Collaborate with front-of-house and back-of-house leadership to anticipate service needs and events.
• Establish, implement, and maintain SOPs, routines, and checklists for accountability and consistency.
• Ensure sanitation, food safety and health regulations compliance within stewarding scope.
• Oversee dishwashing and related equipment; coordinate repairs as needed.
• Manage staffing plans and scheduling aligned with volume and events.
• Lead onboarding, cross-training, and ongoing coaching for stewarding team members.
• Implement inventory control and loss prevention for service ware and glassware.
• Reinforce safe chemical handling and PPE usage across teams.
• Monitor trends and propose process improvements to boost efficiency.
