You will work in the CPD department with evening shifts, 40 hours per week, and rotating weekend/holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Six months to one year Central Services experience preferred.
• CRCST certification within 24 months of hire.
• Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and aseptic technique preferred.
• Basic computer skills and good customer service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates understanding of all sterilization functions and control methods.
• Assembles and labels instrument kits with correct count sheets and indicators.
• Sorts, cleans, and inspects instruments for cleanliness and function.
• Documents sterilizer testing and ensures logbook accuracy.
• Generates case cart pick lists and prepares carts for the OR.
• Maintains inventory levels and proper stock rotation.
• Embraces technology to complete assignments and update records.
• Fosters a culture of safety and follows CDC guidelines.
• Adjusts priorities to meet urgent requests and communicates status.
