Job summary

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent; currently enrolled in Sterile Processing certification program.
• Documentation of enrollment in Sterile Processing certification program.
• Certification obtained within 8 months of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean work environment with infection control.
• Verify sterilization loads and biological tests for efficacy.
• Operate SPD equipment and prepare instruments for distribution.
• Train new staff and support SPD functions as needed.
• Track training and mandatory hospital programs.
