Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician for the Evenings shift in Arlington Heights, IL. The role involves decontamination, sterilization, assembly, and distribution of sterile instruments to surgical suites and clinical departments.

Hours are 3:00pm-11:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays, full-time or part-time options. The candidate should have a GED/High School equivalent and CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification preferred, with about two years of sterile processing

Qualifications

• Education: GED/High School Equivalent required.
• Certification: CBSPD or IAHCSMM strongly preferred.
• Experience: Two years of sterile processing or operating room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital and affiliated facilities with sterile processed materials and equipment.
• Execute established procedures for decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization and case cart setup to ensure quality product for patient care.
• Follow procedures to ensure decontamination completion and proper labeling for distribution.
