Qualifications

• Proficiency operating department machinery and reporting issues.
• Experience with instrument tracking software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operates sterilization equipment and reports issues to lead technician.
• Performs decontamination of instruments, both manual and automated.
• Inspects instruments for cleanliness and functionality.
• Assembles instruments into containers per count sheets and packaging guidelines.
• Performs sterilization and validates sterilization process.
• Maintains documentation of sterilization procedures.
• Delivers sterilized instruments to the OR as needed.
• Participates in weekday surge plans and weekend call.
