Qualifications

• Knowledge of operating industrial heating systems and pneumatic controls.
• Experience with calibration/adjustment techniques using precision instruments.
• Knowledge of firing gas/oil boilers and boiler controls.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor boilers, heat control valves, pumps, and HVAC equipment.
• Perform emergency maintenance after hours and coordinate with other trades as needed.
• Enter and update work orders for preventive/non-scheduled maintenance.
• Operate power plant to provide continuous coverage and report issues.
• Keep boiler room and power plant areas clean and safe; enforce hazards controls.
• Notify supervisors when outside services are required for repairs.
• Work with external vendors for inspections and maintenance contracts.
• Operate lighting systems and monitor water levels in pump houses.
