Job summary

EdAdvance is seeking a part-time Site Support Staff member for Vogel Wetmore School in Torrington, CT. This role supports adult learners and visitors after hours (Mon/Wed 5:00 pm–7:30 pm), greeting guests, monitoring access, and assisting with site operations.

You will collaborate with the Site Coordinator and instructors to maintain a welcoming, safe environment, assist with childcare when needed, and follow all policy and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with adult learners, staff and visitors.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Greet students, staff, visitors, and others entering the site in a welcoming, professional manner.
• Monitor site access and direct individuals to classrooms or offices as needed.
• Assist with maintaining a safe, welcoming environment and follow safety procedures.
• Support childcare and supervision for minor children of adult learners when assigned.
