Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to warehouses and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards. You will operate tandem or tractor-trailer equipment on intrastate and interstate routes following DOT regulations and safety practices.

The role requires 21+ years of age, CDL-A with doubles, 12 months of trucking experience, a clean MVR, and the ability to lift 60–90 pounds. Shift is Sunday–Thursday evenings; drug and road tests are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 12 months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
• Willing to work 3rd shift; Sunday–Thursday nights.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Report safety issues and required repairs.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines.
• Ensure route paperwork is ready at dispatch.
• Drive and deliver trailers per schedule.
• Hook/unhook procedures per safety guidelines.
• Park and store tractor trailers in designated areas.
• Secure equipment and freight; handle damaged goods returns.
• Complete daily hours-of-service logs per regulations.
• Perform housekeeping in truck and loading dock areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
