Job summary

Chelten House Products, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Clerk for the 2nd shift at the Bridgeport, NJ facility. You will verify driver paperwork and prepare documents for inbound and outbound shipments, using the WMS system.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year shipping experience, and proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, and WMS. We offer benefits, a bonus program, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
1 year+ shipping/receiving experience preferred.
Experience with shipping/freight.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook; ability to learn WMS.

Responsibilities

Check in drivers and verify paperwork for shipments/receipts.
Create receiving documents, bills of lading, and use pick tickets for skid counts.
Review paperwork for accuracy and reissue for corrections.
Process receipts and shipments in the WMS system.
Notify internal staff about inbound issues, backorders, and shipping statuses.
Report discrepancies to shift supervisor or department manager.
Assist customer service with shipping-related inquiries and pricing.
