What We Need:

• We need a Shipping & Receiving Clerk who is responsible for scheduling all outbound and inbound deliveries and performing similar tasks relating to warehouse, receiving, and shipping duties.

What You Will Do:

• You will check in drivers and verify they have accurate paperwork for the shipment or receipt
• You will create receiving documents, bills of lading, and use pick tickets to ascertain accurate skid counts for carriers
• You will review paperwork packets for accuracy and reissue to the floor for correction as needed
• You will transact and process receipts and shipments following standard procedures within the WMS system
• You will alert all necessary internal staff regarding inbound issues, backorders, and shipping statuses
• You will report discrepancies to the shift supervisor or department manager
• You will assist customer service by identifying and researching customer issues that are related to the shipping (and receiving) of orders
• You will assist the department in answering and creating online quotes for customer inquiries regarding freight pricing as needed
• You will follow up on warehouse inquiries made by internal departments
• You will assist the shift supervisor, as well as the department manager, when requested
• You will contribute to a team effort by accomplishing related goals for results as needed

What You Need:

• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• 1 year + previous industry experience
• Previous Shipping and Freight Experience
• Proficient in Excel word and outlook and the ability to use or quickly understand a WMS.
• Good work ethic, written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work as part of a team
• Customer service background or relevant work experience
• Exemplary Customer-Facing and Customer Service Skills
